Lawrence and Angela Banes of Jamestown, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Joanna, to Jason Rowe, the son of Dale and Diane Rowe of Rochester. Miss Banes is also the granddaughter of Julia Fasciana and Richard and Dorthy Meier, all of Jamestown, N.Y.
Miss Banes is a 1999 graduate of Jamestown High School, a 2003 graduate of Mercyhurst College and a 2005 graduate of Nova Southeastern University of Florida. She is employed by the Rochester City School District. Her fiance is a 1997 graduate of Greece Arcadia High School and a 2004 graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia. He is employed by Kraft Foods.
A fall 2009 wedding is planned.
