Chip and Mary Beth Johnson of Jamestown announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Lorraine, to William G. Miley III, the son of Bill and Lorraine Miley of Jamestown.
Miss Johnson is a 2003 graduate of Jamestown High School, earned her Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the State University of New York at Fredonia in 2007 and is pursuing her master’s degree in secondary education from St. Bonaventure University. Her fiance is a 1999 graduate of Jamestown High School and earned his Bachelor of Science in secondary education in mathematics from the the State University of New York at Fredonia in 2003 and his master’s degree in 2006 from the University at Buffalo. He is employed by the Jamestown Public Schools as a math teacher at Jefferson Middle School.
A July 25, 2009, wedding is being planned.
