Alphonse and Evelyn Suchar of West Ellicott announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Elizabeth, to Michael Ryan Osgood, the son of Lynn and Kathy Osgood of Jamestown.
Miss Suchar is a 1997 graduate of Southwestern Central High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2001 from the State University at Geneseo, and a master’s and specialist degree in psychology from Alfred University. She is employed as a school psychologist with Salamanca Central School District. Her fiance is a 1994 graduate of Jamestown High School, a 1996 graduate of Jamestown Community College and a 1999 graduate of St. Bonaventure University. He is employed as a manager at the Ironstone Restaurant in Jamestown.
An Oct. 3, 2009, wedding is planned.
